Enjoy beverages without needing thickener to activate! The Bionix SafeStraw empowers individuals with swallowing disorders to enjoy beverages confidently and independently, in the consistency that they were meant to be consumed. The float within the straw controls liquid intake. Reusable and disassembles for easy cleaning (top rack dishwasher safe). Step 1

Use one of the provided ¼ diameter flexi-straws, or one of your own. If straw is too long, simply cut to desired length.

Step 2

Press straw firmly onto the tapered end of the SafeStraw cylinder. The wide end of the cylinder is the bottom.

Step 3

Place in drink and fill the cylinder by sucking once. Suck again to begin to use. NOTE: Between sips, the float inside of the cylinder needs to reset, or fall to the bottom of the cylinder, to allow for full volume consumption on the next sip.

EASY TO USE: Includes (2) White SafeStraw Devices & (4) Disposable Straws Insert your straw onto the open end of the SafeStraw device, insert into drink & suck once to fill the cylinder with your drink of choice. Suck again to begin use.
