Flexible Dosing Options – Holds up to 28 doses, dispensing one to four times daily.Audible & Visual Alerts – Low-frequency alarm and flashing light for dose reminders.User-Friendly Access – Sloped exit ramp for easy retrieval, ideal for dexterity issues.Reliable Power Backup – AC adapter with a rechargeable battery for up to 72 hours of backup.Secure & Tamper-Resistant – Locking lid with one-dose access to prevent overdosing.
The MedReady 1700FL dispenser accommodates up to 28 doses of medication and can dispense between one and four times per day, allowing for flexible scheduling. Each compartment can hold up to nine M&M-sized pills, ensuring ample space for most daily medications.
When it’s time for a dose, a low-frequency alarm and flashing light signal the user for up to 30 minutes (adjustable). To access the medication, the user slides the med door forward, which stops the alarm and reveals the current dose.
Medications are dispensed via a sloped exit ramp, making pill retrieval easy and convenient, especially for users with dexterity issues. The med door may be left open or closed after a dose, and it automatically resets, ready for the next scheduled dose.
The device runs on an AC adapter that trickle-charges the rechargeable battery, allowing for continued operation even during a power outage. When unplugged, the backup battery provides up to 72 hours of uninterrupted dispensing.
The MedReady 1700FL’s locking lid ensures that medication is safe and accessible only when it’s time for a dose. Only one dose is available at a time, reducing the risk of tampering or accidental overdose. This non-monitored model does not connect to a network, providing privacy for users who do not need caregiver alerts. For those requiring monitoring, advanced MedReady models with connectivity are available.
The MedReady 1700FL Package is a reliable, straightforward option for individuals looking to manage their medication independently while ensuring safety and ease of use.
The device is manufactured in Torrance California and proudly made in the USA and is fully serviceable here if needed.

Customers say
Customers find the pill dispenser works well for medication management, particularly for elderly patients, and can be set to dispense pills 1-4 times a day. The build quality receives mixed feedback – while some find it reliable, others describe it as flimsy and not tamper-resistant. The setup process and battery life are also mixed aspects, with some finding it easy to set up and lasting 8-9 days, while others find it difficult to set up and report it breaking after a few months. Customers disagree on the value for money, with some considering it worth the price while others find it too expensive. The noise level receives mixed reactions, with customers noting the alarm is loud enough but the wheel turning is very loud.
